PIANO LESSONS TESTIMONIALS

My daughter Mara started taking piano lessons with Renee’ at age 7.  She was shy and nervous at the time but she loved music and wanted to try the piano.  Renee’ was amazing!  She was kind and patient yet firm when necessary (when she could see Mara hadn’t practiced at home).  Her method of teaching made so much sense and worked wonders with Mara.  Mara continued on for 5 years and developed excellent piano skills, each level building on the level before.  Piano brought out Mara’s confidence and she went on to develop her vocal skills as a result of developing her piano skills and her ear for music.  Renee’s passion for music is quite evident in her love and dedication to teaching it to others.  Her instruction and influence on my daughter has been instrumental and was the foundation that led her to pursue Music Education at James Madison University School of Music this year!

Renee’ had taught me how to play piano for a little more than two years.  She is an excellent, classically trained musician that has a vast knowledge of music theory, which is exactly what you want to look for in a teacher if you’re truly looking to understand music.  As a teacher, she is thorough, understanding, and instills a drive in her students to be better.  As a student of hers, I have developed an introductory level of music theory knowledge which has given me more of a love and appreciation for music than I’ve ever had.  I look forward to resuming lessons with her one day, and would highly recommend her for students of all age and skill levels.

Mrs. Renee’ Gramiak is a very sweet, kind, and loving teacher.  She works her students to be the best piano players they can be.  She’s not afraid to be honest in the student’s performance.  I wouldn’t want anyone else teaching me piano.

_____

I began working with Renee' as an intermediate piano player interested in learning both chord charts/rhythm and sight reading. Through a few short evaluations, Renee' was able to isolate weaknesses in my playing and provide helpful instruction for correcting them. Additionally, she gave me challenging new material and modeled everything for me several times to ensure that I understood. She is patient, though she pushed me to improve and made her expectations clear.  She is an extremely talented and knowledgeable musician who seeks to use her skills for the glory of God, and I greatly enjoyed and benefited from my time learning from her.
